What is an FBO?
Understanding Fixed Base Operators - the private terminals where your jet journey begins and ends.
Understanding FBOs
An FBO (Fixed Base Operator) is a private terminal at an airport that provides services to general aviation aircraft and their passengers. Unlike commercial airline terminals, FBOs offer a private, streamlined experience for private jet travelers.
When you fly privately, you'll arrive at and depart from an FBO rather than the main commercial terminal. This means no long security lines, no crowded gates, and the ability to arrive just minutes before your flight.
Did You Know?
Most airports have multiple FBOs competing for business. Your charter provider will typically select an FBO based on factors like location on the field, fuel pricing, and service quality. You can often request a specific FBO if you have a preference.
