Gulfstream Aerospace has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) type certification for the G800, the company's newest ultra-long-range business jet. The aircraft can fly 8,000 nautical miles nonstop, connecting virtually any two cities in the world.
Record-Breaking Capabilities
The G800 set multiple city-pair records during its flight test program, including:
- Savannah to Tokyo: 6,700 nm in 13 hours, 20 minutes
- Los Angeles to London: 4,800 nm in 9 hours, 5 minutes
- Dubai to Houston: 7,800 nm in 15 hours, 45 minutes
Advanced Technology
The aircraft features Gulfstream's Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks, the first to be certified on a business jet. The cabin includes 100% fresh air, the lowest cabin altitude in the industry, and whisper-quiet noise levels.
"The G800 represents the pinnacle of business aviation capability," said Gulfstream President Mark Burns. "Our customers can now reach any destination on their schedule."
Deliveries are expected to begin in Q2 2026, with more than 80 aircraft already in the production queue.
